ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />Dallas' Dealey Plaza fell silent on Friday marking the moment 50 years ago to the day that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated there.<br/> <br />Five thousand guests were invited to attend the commemorative events that included the tolling of bells, a brief moment of silence and the singing of "America the Beautiful" by the U.S. Naval Academy Men's Glee Club.<br/> <br />A new JFK monument was also unveiled at the cite of the ceremony honoring the 35th President who was killed November 22, 1963.
