ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />A rescuer from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Nikolai Rybachenko, took the Olympic torch to the bottom of the world's deepest lake, Lake Baikal, on Saturday.<br/> <br />The mission was the result of two months of training dives.<br/> <br />The Olympic torch is on an unprecedented 65,000-kilometer, 123-day journey, criss-crossing Russia to show the world Russia's regional and ethnic diversity while creating excitement and unity among residents ahead of the Games, according to the organizers.<br/> <br />Lake Baikal is in Russia's eastern Siberia region, a 5-hour flight from Moscow.
