Anti-government protesters in Bangkok have forced their way into the Finance Ministry to call for the resignation of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.<br /><br /> Thousands of demonstrators marched on 12 state buildings including government offices, military bases and TV studios.<br /><br /> The protests have been sparked by a controversial amnesty bill.<br /><br /> The legislation, would have allowed former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra , the brother of the current prime minister, to return to Thailand without serving a jail term for corruption.<br /><br /> The Thai parliament voted against the bill, but the move has re-opened deep political wounds and the unrest looks set to continue.
