Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - Can my fiance and i get an apartment if ....? - my fiance and i looking for an apartment. one problem. i declared bankruptcy in 2008 so my credit is pretty much screwed. my fiance on the other hand has outstanding credit ! so the question .. when we start going to actually look at apartments, will we just be wasting our time, or will someone overlook my past credit problems and rent to us ? right now, we are renting from his dad (his dad owns the building and has 5 apartments he rents out and that is where we are living right now) I'm sure if they want to call him he will tell them our payments are always on time, which they are. we are outstanding tenants the only problem/down side is my credit report. help ?? -
