Considering it was an auto accident, legally my health insurance doesn't have to touch it. We have a lawyer but I want an opinion before the time that we meet with him. He wants to get $250,000 for pain and suffering, current bills, and future problems. If we do this, anything over the $100K will come out of my boyfriend's pocket. However, if we do sue him, he's going to file bankruptcy. All he has in his name is a $2,000 truck and a $10K motorcycle, which will be taken. Will we get out 250K if he files for bankruptcy or will we just get what he has in value in his name? <br /> Please help this is killing me. <br />I'm far too young to understand and make a decision like this. -
