(SOUNDBITE) U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA SAYING:<br/> <br />"Generally speaking, Thanksgiving is a bad day to be a Turkey..."<br/> <br />In the yearly White House Thanksgiving tradition, U.S. President Barack Obama pardons two two turkeys.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA SAYING:<br/> <br />"Popcorn, you have a full reprieve from cranberry sauce and stuffing."<br/> <br />The White House said Popcorn was elected this Thanksgiving's top bird by voters who voted for #TeamPopcorn on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.<br/> <br />This year's 38-pound gobblers came from Minnesota, and were selected from a group of 80 turkeys that beat the competition and made it to the White House.<br/> <br />The rest might not enjoy such a stuffing-free fate.
