It's a story so gruesome it belongs in a horror film.<br/> <br />A mafioiso was fed to pigs in Italy... alive, police say.<br/> <br />An anti-mafia operation involving the arrest of 20 revealed that the mobster was fed to pigs alive some time last year.<br/> <br />Authorities apparently intercepted a phone call from one of the killers, who boasted about enjoying the sound of the victim screaming.<br/> <br />The police in southern Italy's Reggio Calabria province say they have determined that Francesco Raccosta, a member of a local crime syndicate, was sacrificed to the pigs.<br/> <br />He is believed to have been killed in connection to a decades long -- and lethal -- rivalry between two clans.
