Eight firefighters are injured after a fire ripped through the Latin American Memorial in Sao Paulo.<br/> <br />It was designed by world-renowned architect, Oscar Niemeyer.<br/> <br />The Governor of the State of Sao Paulo gave an update on the injured.<br/> <br />GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF SAO PAULO, GERALDO ALCKMIN, SAYING:<br/> <br />"Eight firefighters were injured in the operation, but we are only following two of them personally and when I leave here I am going to the hospital where they are at the intensive care unit, but recovering well and the outlook, God willing, is positive."<br/> <br />The long, elongated building is part of a complex that opened in 1989.<br/> <br />It is still unclear how the fire started.
