A passenger train has been derailed in New York with multiple injuries, authorities say. There are unconfirmed reports that at least four people have died.<br /><br />Emergency services are on the scene where five of the seven Metro-North train’s carriages came off the tracks.<br /><br />Earlier reports that some of the carriages had gone into water nearby have been denied.<br /><br />The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) said the derailment happened near Spuyten Duyvil station in the Bronx.
