Dramatic footage has emerged appearing to show an unidentified person being beaten by Ukrainian police <br /><br />Allegedly filmed on December 1, some of the scenes are of a graphic nature.<br /><br />The footage appears to show a person lying on the ground being repeatedly beaten by several people in police uniform. <br /><br />Later some officers are seen gathered around the person appearing to offer some help.<br /><br />The identity and current wellbeing of the person seen in the film is not yet known.<br /><br />Broadcast by a local news outlet, it is believed the incident occurred as riot police cleared an area of protesters near to the president’s office.<br /><br />The Ukrainian government has since promised a thorough investigation into events.
