U.S. Vice President Joe Biden visited the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on Saturday (December 7), the heavily armed border between two Koreas during his visit to South Korea.<br/> <br />At an observation post, he looked around the border area and across at North Korea through binoculars.<br/> <br />Biden also met with U.S. soldiers serving at the border post and made a visit to the truce village of Panmunjom where the North and South Korean soldiers stand opposite each other, on their side of the military demarcation line.<br/> <br />Pyongyang is technically still at war with South Korea and views Washington as an imperialist aggressor.<br/> <br />Biden is scheduled to fly back to Washington after the DMZ visit.
