Rebel fighters have been driven out of the western Syrian town of Nabak in the Qalamoun mountains after a year-long battle.<br />President Bashar al-Assad's forces now control one of the only supply routes connecting northern Syria to the south.<br />Al Jazeera's Mereana Hond reports.
