Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra was nearly in tears on Tuesday (December 10) as she pleaded to protesters to clear the streets and support a snap election.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Thai) THAI PRIME MINISTER YINGLUCK SHINAWATRA SAYING:<br/> <br />"I'm not senseless. I've always listened to protesters' demands. When they talk about my whole family (to be ousted), I think we (Shinawatra family) are also Thai people. They don't want us to stay in Thailand, do they? Are we (protesters and Yingluck) going to continue living like this? I have backed down to the point where I don't know how to back down any further. I'm asking for justice for myself, thank you."<br/> <br />The weeks-long protests have sometimes turned violent.
