The first ever G8 summit on dementia is now underway in London.<br /><br />There are 44 million people around the world living with dementia, and new research suggests the number of sufferers is expected to treble by 2050.<br /><br />World Health Organisation director general Margaret Chan says the disease is no longer just a problem for a developed nations.<br /><br />These figures are causing huge problems for dementia treatment in the UK, the host of the conference.<br /><br />Treatment is being hampered by spending cuts in their national health service. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Neave Barker reports from Bradford in the North of England.
