Two people were injured after a U.S. Navy helicopter made an emergency landing south of Tokyo on Monday (December 16) and turned onto its side, local media said.<br/> <br />Footage from Japanese broadcaster TV Tokyo showed a helicopter lying in an open area of Miura City, about 80 kilometres south of Tokyo.<br/> <br />The Kyodo news agency reported two of the helicopter's four-member air crew were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, one suffering bruising and the other a broken leg.<br/> <br />The helicopter attempted the landing in an area of reclaimed land several hundred metres from the nearest residential area after pilots appeared to lose control of the aircraft, Kyodo said.
