Two people were stabbed and two police officers hurt in Sweden on Sunday (December 15) when an anti-racism rally in southern Stockholm came under attack by a group of around 40 far-right extremists.<br/> <br />Around two hundred anti-racism demonstrators were marching through the streets of Karrtorp, in the capital, when scuffles broke out with far-right extremists hurling flares, bottles and other objects at protesters.<br/> <br />Local media reported that Swedish police had detained 28 people and those hurt during clashes were hospitalised.<br/> <br />The authorised demonstration was organised by a network called "Line17 against racism" in protest against Nazi graffiti appearing in parts of the local area.<br/> <br />Amateur video filmed by a bystander showed demonstrators being targeted by angry extremists who appeared to be attempting to surround them.
