Hollywood mourned the death of two acting legends over the weekend. First, Peter O'Toole died in London after a long illness. The honorary-Oscar winner shot to international fame in the 1962 movie "Lawrence of Arabia." He went on to have a career than spanned more than 50 years on film and stage. He was 81.<br/> <br />Secondly, Oscar-winning actress Joan Fontaine passed away in California. Star of Alfred Hitchcock's classics "Rebecca" and "Suspicion," Fontaine died of natural causes. She was 96.<br/> <br />The nominations for the Critics' Choice awards have been announced and it was a tie. Steve McQueen's "12 Years a Slave" received 13 nods - as did David O. Russell's "American Hustle." Both films garnered nominations in the best film and director categories and for lead and supporting performances.<br/> <br />Finally, a small hobbit racked up big sales at movie box offices during the weekend, generating 205 million dollars at theaters around the world.
