US government watchdog says chemicals found in many liquid soaps may cause health risks.<br /><br />Dr. Leonardo Trasande, associate professor of paediatrics at New York University's Langone Medical Center, talks to Al Jazeera about the latest government findings. <br /><br />He told Al Jazeera's Divya Gopalan that the chemical Triclosan in antibacterial soaps have been found to disrupt thyroid hormones in the body.
