It's a 'feliz navidad' for a handful of Spaniards this holiday season.<br/> <br />Streets are abuzz in Spain over the "El Gordo" Christmas lottery.<br/> <br />That's Spanish for 'The Fat One'. And it's been the heftiest year thus far in the lottery's 200 year history.<br/> <br />The first prize totaled four million euros, or nearly 5.5 million U.S. dollars, spread across a series of 10 tickets.<br/> <br />This year's lucky number was 62246.<br/> <br />The hugely popular Christmas lottery boasts one of the biggest prize funds on earth.<br/> <br />It's a bit of a miracle for Alfonso Martinez, a 53 year-old top prize winner.<br/> <br />He recently lost his job.<br/> <br />TOP PRIZE WINNER ALFONSO MARTINEZ 53, SAYING:<br/> <br />"I worked at a travel agency. Iberia travels which was a company were the chiefs took all the money and left us skint. They fired us without severance pay. All of them are working in important companies while workers were fired.
