They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but one man is thanking his lucky stars that is not always the case after a taxi driver found something he had left in the back of a cab, and returned it.<br /><br />No big deal you might well say, except that the lost item was an envelope bulging with some 300,000 dollars.<br /><br />“I said, ‘Oh my god, this is cash money’,” recalled driver Gerardo Gamboa.<br /><br />“You never thought ‘I could really use this’...?” asked a journalist.<br /><br />“Oh no, no, not even, not even one second, no,’ was the emphatic reply.<br />26<br /><br />The reward for driver Gerardo Gamboa’s honesty? A cheque for 1000 dollars from a grateful customer, who no doubt will never have a bad word for a taxi-driver again.
