A fire swept through a garment factory in Savar, Bangladesh on Thursday (December 26) morning, damaging fabrics, clothes and machinery.<br/> <br />Local media said at least three people were injured from helping firefighters put out the blaze.<br/> <br />Police said the fire originated from the top floor of the six storey Japan-Bangla Garments Factory but the cause is unknown.<br/> <br />Officials said the fire was brought under control in one and a half hours and that no one was inside the factory at the time of the fire.<br/> <br />Local media reported that the extent of the losses have not yet been determined.
