Paul Anthony Ciancia pleaded not guilty on Thursday to charges of murder and attempted murder.<br/> <br />The 23-year-old is accused of going on a shooting spree with an assault rifle at Los Angeles International Airport November 1st, killing a federal security agent and wounding three other people.<br/> <br />Ciancia pled not guilty to all 11 counts in the federal indictment against him.<br/> <br />He was arraigned at this detention center east of Los Angeles. That's where he's being treated for injuries he sustained during a gunfight with police during the shooting.<br/> <br />Three of the charges he faces carry a maximum life sentence or the death penalty.<br/> <br />Federal prosecutors haven't decided whether to seek capital punishment if Ciancia is convicted.
