A Thai anti-government protester has been shot dead in Bangkok, according to emergency officials.<br /><br />One man was reportedly killed, and four more people wounded, when an unidentified gunman opened fire – amid demonstrations against the government of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.<br /><br />Protesters have been rallying for weeks to topple Shinawatra, who they accuse of corruption. She dissolved parliament earlier this month and called a snap election due to be held on February 2.<br /><br />The latest violence comes two days after two people were killed in clashes between demonstrators and police outside a voting registration centre in Bangkok.
