Emergency services were called to this hotel in Tenerife after an explosion in a poolside bar on Friday.<br/> <br />Five people -- three of them British tourists -- were injured at the Bahia Principe hotel in Playa Paraiso.<br/> <br />Paramedics said a British woman suffered serious burns to her face and scalp. Her eight-year-old daughter and a British man were also treated .<br/> <br />(Local media reported that a Belgian and a Spaniard were also injured in the blast.)<br/> <br />The pool was reopened on Saturday and life has returned to normal at the hotel.<br/> <br />But it is not known what caused the expolosion, although local media claimed a beer gas canister had exploded.
