ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />Sicily's Mount Etna, Europe's most active volcano, erupted on Sunday and Monday (December 29-30), spewing lava and volcanic ash into the sky, but causing no danger to nearby residents.<br/> <br />The snow-capped volcano, has been quite active over the last few months as a new south eastern crater has opened up.<br/> <br />Etna has erupted many times in recorded history.
