Putin calls Volgograd bomb attacks "abomination"

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday called the two deadly bombings in Volgograd an "abomination."<br/> <br />The president visited the city where more than 34 people were killed earlier this week in back-to-back suicide bombings.<br/> <br />He stopped by the hospital where a number of the injured are recovering.<br/> <br />He later laid flowers at a memorial at the scene of one of the bombings.<br/> <br />In a meeting with security officials, Putin said that Russia would find a way to keep citizens safe.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Russian) RUSSIAN PRESIDENT, VLADIMIR PUTIN, SAYING:<br/> <br />"The abomination of this crime that was - or crimes that were - committed here, in Volgograd don't need any additional commentary.
