Australian fire-fighters on Friday (January 3) continued to battle fires still burning in parts of North Stradbroke Island in Queensland.<br/> <br />Extra teams have arrived on the island to help battle the blaze as strong winds threaten to force it over containment lines.<br/> <br />Generators have been supplied to some homes that have lost power on the island which is 51 kilometres (31 miles) from Brisbane.<br/> <br />The blaze that started on Wednesday (January 1) forced the evacuation of 900 campers.
