Hundreds of people flocked to a giant ice-rink in the centre of Mexico city on Thursday to make the most of the last few days of the Christmas vacation. <br />Local residents and tourists alike donned bright orange ice-skates to take a turn around the rink in the capital’s Zocalo Square.<br />Despite the tumbles, people seemed to be enjoying the novelty of the open-air rink.<br />At 4,480 square metres (48,222 square feet), the ice-rink is one of the largest of its kind in Latin America.<br />No Comment | euronews: watch the international news without commentary | http://www.euronews.net/nocomment/
