One of the most popular cereal brands in the United States has given in to consumer pressure, and removed genetically modified ingredients from its product.<br /> <br />Original Cheerios is the latest in a string of food products that are now free of GMOs, which activists say can cause health and environmental problems.<br /><br />And as Al Jazeera's Cath Turner reports from Washington, the movement against genetically modified food continues to gain momentum around the world.
