Phil Everly, one part of the country and rock duo the Everly Brothers, has died in Los Angeles.<br/> <br />Everly suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and passed away in Burbank on Friday.<br/> <br />Phil and his brother Don were profoundly influential in the 1960's and 50's with songs like "Wake Up Little Susie" and "Bye Bye Love".<br/> <br />Rolling Stone magazine listed the pair at number 33 on it's list of 100 Greatest Artists.<br/> <br />Phil Everly was 74 years old.
