One of football’s greatest ever strikers, Eusebio has died, aged 71.<br /><br />Known as the “Black Panther” his full name was Eusubio de Silva Ferreira.<br /><br />He won the European Cup with Benfica in 1962 and was named European Footballer of the Year in 1965<br /><br />Eusubio made his name as a striker for Portugal at the 1966 World Cup in England where he scored nine goals to help his team finish third.<br /><br />The Portugese sports daily A’Bola said Eusebio died of cardiac arrest in the early hours of Sunday morning.
