At least nine people have been killed after a fire engulfed a train in India. <br /><br />Footage from the scene clearly showed a number of coaches had been gutted by the blaze.<br /><br />Officials say the train was heading out of Western Indian city of Mumbai when it caught fire. <br /><br />India’s immense state-owned railway which operates some 9000 trains and carries almost 20 million passengers a day has notoriously bad track record. <br /><br />Only in December, 26 people were killed in a similar train fire. That deadly incident was blamed on an electrical short circuit.
