This has to be one of the simplest cars to install a xenon conversion kit on. <br /> <br />On some E39 models both the dipped beam and the fog lights are 9006 (hb4) bulbs, but as per our example here. The dipped beam was a H7 halogen bulb. <br /> <br />Dipped Beam: <br />Installed our H7 canbus xenon conversion hid kit, this required an adapter to hold the bulb in place. <br /> <br />Be careful not to apply too much force on the lamp when installing the H7 hid bulb, as this particular car has a weak connection between the headlamp housing and the internal beam adjuster! <br /> <br />Fog Lights: <br />Its as simple as twisting the old HB4 (9006) light bulbs out and twisting the HB4 (9006) hid xenon bulbs in (and then connecting to the ballasts). <br /> <br />We decided to leave the oem halogen angel eyes in place and not upgrade them with our Canbus angel eye upgrades, because the car looked great. <br /> <br />The rear number plate lights were upgraded with our high power canbus festoon lights, error free naturally. <br /> <br />Contact us: <br /> <br />0044 207 183 3090 <br />mail@autolights.co.uk <br />www.autolights.co.uk
