Bangui, the capital of Central African Republic.<br/> <br />People here are waiting for a new transitional government to restore peace.<br/> <br />Their interim president, Michel Djotodia, resigned on Friday, along with his prime minister.<br/> <br />They were under intense pressure to quit -- for failing to stop inter-religious violence between Muslim and Christian militias.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (French) ENGINEER, HERVE SANDE, SAYING:<br/> <br />"We are satisfied. We got what we wanted, and we are really happy about his departure.
