The body of former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who died on Saturday aged 85, has arrived at the Knesset in Jerusalem. <br /><br />Sharon will lie in state outside the Israeli parliament, where the public will be able to pay their last respects until six pm local time on Sunday.<br /><br />International figures are expected to attend a ceremony for the divisive former Prime Minister at the Knesset on Monday.<br /><br />Tony Blair, previously the Prime Minister of Britain will represent the United Kingdom and US Vice President Joe Biden will lead the American delegation. <br /><br />Other European representatives, such as Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov and his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier, will also be in attendance on Monday.<br /><br />Following the memorial ceremony at the Knesset, Ariel Sharon will be buried in a private service at his ranch in the Negev desert, which is also where his late second wife Lily is buried.
