MWG Tabletware's design philosophy centres around 4 core principles - Quality, Function, Protection and Usability. The Quality and Protection sides of our designs are standard across all of our products. What this clip is concerned with is the Function and Usability side of the process. Attention to detail in this department is what differentiates a really good case from the mediocre average. We talk about 2 valuable features of the new Amazon Kindle case collection that are quite minimal yet have a profound impact on the functionality and user experience delivered by the final case. Firstly is the unobtrusive top retaining flap that holds the Kindle in place. This is a valuable enhancement as it guarantees that the Kindle can't fall out of the case in any circumstances. It works so well because the design is one of elegant simplicity. A large majority of cases on the market lack an equivalent feature. When new the case may be a tight fit but over time the leather will soften and grip on the Kindle will naturally become looser leading to the possibility of it falling out all together. Secondly we cover a much griped about part of similar cases which concerns part of the framework hindering access to the multifunction button. It has long been a niggle that it can be difficult to press the down function where a small piece of leather runs beneath the button.
