Ben Tanzer, great author and great person, is the Writer in Residence at Necessary Fiction for the month of November 2012. As part of his residency, he's asked some of his artist friends to offer a few words about something that has changed their lives as artist.<br /><br />I've always been skeptical of people who call themselves artists, so making this video wasn't exactly natural for me. But, I suppose if I can disregard my hesitancy to embrace labels, then "artist" is as good a label as any.
