Original error <br />"VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration has been enabled, but is not operational. Your 64-bit guest will fail to detect a 64-bit CPU and will not be able to boot. <br />Please ensure that you have enabled VT-x/AMD-V properly in the BIOS of your host computer." <br /> <br />Here is the original ticket that solved this issue https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/5639 <br />Here is what to look for in the virtual machine log "VERR_SVM_IN_USE" to see if you are experiencing the same issue. <br /> <br />I was running the machine on a Asus board with Phenom II X6 <br /> <br />Note that this will only work if you actually have a 64bit processor in your machine, if your machine does not have a 64 bit OS or 64 bit cpu, this will not help. <br /> <br />Twitter: @Purkkaviritys
