Russell both earned directing nods, as the two films lead the race with 10 nominations each.<br/> <br />The pair are listed with Alexander Payne for "Nebraka," Steve McQueen for "12 Years a Slave," and Martin Scorsese for "The Wolf of Wall Street."<br/> <br />The Academy will hand out the Oscars at a ceremony hosted by comedian Ellen DeGeneres in Los Angeles on March 2.
