Paying tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr.<br/> <br />At his memorial in Washington -- a yellow wreath to honor the slain civil rights leader. The gathering, not far from the site where he delivered his compelling 'I have a dream' speech, was just one of many events marking his life. There were parades in San Antonio, Phoenix and Denver in honor of King's work to end segregation<br/> <br />Vice President Joe Biden reflected on King's legacy at a breakfast in Washington.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) VICE PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN SAYING:<br/> <br />"It's the everyday actions that inspire that are going to keep human progress rolling forward, and keep it from sliding back."<br/> <br />He added that the battle for equality is ongoing.
