The South Sudanese government says it has recaptured a key oil town from rebels. But thousands of people in Malakal have been left homeless, and have suffered from looting, rape and violence.<br /><br />Hospitals, schools and churches have been transformed into refugee camps housing the displaced, struggling to provide for the huge number of those seeking safety.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Jamal Elshayyal reports from Malakal, at the centre of the latest fighting in South Sudan.
