It has great presence and the sound is nice and rich and there is not much background noise, hiss, or static sound.<br /><br />The Blue Snowball is a great starter mic on YouTube but it tends to pick up EVERYTHING in the room. If you have a computer with loud fans or a loud air conditioning/heating system, the mic may pic it up.<br /><br />The Rode VideoMic is a solid choice for a mobile mic. It does run in to a problem with DSLR's though because it has no output boost. Part of the blame falls on the Canon T3i and other DSLR mics because their mic inputs aren't that great and increasing the input increases static sound and hissing.<br /><br />The last mic you hear me test is the stock mic on the Canon T3i. It's basically terrible compared to the other mics.
