The Argentine peso has dropped three percent against the dollar, the biggest single day fall in 12 years.<br /><br />Thursday's adjustment came as the central bank scaled back its intervention to preserve international reserves that have fallen to a seven-year low.<br /><br />Earlier this week, the government announced restrictions on internet purchases and took measures to control trading on the black market.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Daniel Schweimler reports from Buenos Aires.
