In Syria the fighting continues.Unverified images – released on the internet and said to have been shot in Aleppo and Damascus – seem to show rebel factions fighting each other. <br /><br />The Al Quaeda linked group Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant has been in clashes with other insurgent groups over disputes about authority and territory. <br /><br />One tank was filmed apparently shelling a government stronghold. <br /><br />It is thought however that around 1,400 people have died in this in-fighting over the past three weeks, with civilians also killed and injured in the cross-fire.
