Syrian peace talks got off to a tentative start, with the leaders of the rival delegations faling to attend the first face-to-face meeting and those present refusing to speak to each other directly.<br /><br />Delgates for the Syrian government and the opposition Syrian National Coalition met face to face for the first time in the meeting on Saturday at the UN's headquaters in Geneva.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports from Geneva.
