Nineteen workers have suffered carbon monoxide “poisoning” while changing rail tracks overnight in the Channel Tunnel, according to the French prefecture in the Pas-de-Calais region.<br /><br />Eurotunnel says they were taken to local hospitals as a precaution and most went home after tests showed no ill effects.<br /><br />One worker was taken to hospital in Lille for further examination but was expected to be released.
