In Bangkok, blood and bullet holes after violence broke out near a polling station.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Thai) 64 YEAR-OLD PROTESTER FROM NAKORN SRI THAMMARAT, IAN PETSONG SAYING:<br/> <br />"When we turned the car, they shot us several times bang! bang! bang! They shot us."<br/> <br />Police say a prominent anti-government protester was killed in clashes between opponents and supports of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Sunday.<br/> <br />Many in this crowd are accusing the government of targeting the protester, Suthin Taratin.<br/> <br />They also say reform within the government is necessary before voters head to the polls next week.<br/> <br />Tension between the two groups has gripped Thailand for the past eight years -- bringing growth in Southeast Asia's second largest economy to a halt.<br/> <br />Eleven people were also injured in Sunday's clashes.
