Notore Chemical Industries CEO, Jite Okoloko, spoke to ABN’s Keisha Gitari about the issues his company in tackling in Nigerian farming. <br /> <br />Okoloko spoke about the importance of a value chain whereby the right type of fertilisers are available to farmers at the right price, quantity and time in order for better crop yields. <br /> <br />At present Nigerian farmers can expect less than 2-3% seed penetration and so Notore is teaching farmers best practices in order to improve results. <br /> <br />At this stage, farmers become the sellers looking for a market for their products but these need to be structured.
