After you have picked a code. make sure the "turn on" box is selected. then update. Then save. <br /> <br />6. The first time you can make sure this works is when you have your first battle against Bianca. After beating her your pokemon should gain exp. <br /> <br />Extra tips: <br /> <br />It should work straight away, no need to start the game again. <br /> <br />Play up to bianca without the codes, then save state before the battle.
