Doctors treating seven-times Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher are beginning a process to awaken him from an artificial coma.<br /><br /> They will start lowering his sedation level – a procedure which could last several days, according to the German’s agent, Sabine Kehm.<br /><br /> Schumacher’s been in hospital in the eastern French city of Grenoble for more than four weeks after hitting his head in an off-piste skiing accident at the resort of Meribel.
